Due to his dynamic and versatile style of playing  Kelvin is cited as being one of the finest Upright Bass Players on the Irish Music scene. His ability on the intsrument spans multiple genres all the way from Rockabilly to Irish Trad.

 

As a double bass Session player Kelvin has performed with Jack-L, Joe Fury and the Hayride, The Niall Toner Band, Tulsk, The Whileaways and also as part of Sharon Shannons big band. He also makes up one quarter of the Rock & Roll band 4 Men &  a Bass.
